Macedon Ranges Sustainability Festival 2014

On Sunday February 8th 2014 PJT Green Plumbing and our friends PJT Sizzle and Clean Up Our Water headed to the Macedon Ranges Sustainable Living Festival.

The MRSLF raises awareness of the environmental, economic, social and cultural challenges that our community faces in today’s fast-paced and hectic world. The festival it’self presented different avenues towards living a more sustainable lifestyle and towards a greener future.

The festival was located at The Woodend Community Garden and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The stalls were situated under a beautiful oak tree and had excellent views of the surrounding scenery. The sun came out in true fashion and we reach a top of 41 degrees!! Despite the high temperature there was a lot of shade to keep festival-goers cool and plenty of workshops and entertainment to keep everyone busy.

PJT Green Plumbing was well received by the locals at Woodend and we had a fair few festival goers show their interest in moving their household to a more sustainable future. It was also the official launch date for Clean Up Our Water, a volunteer organisation founded by Managing Director Paul Talbot. Clean Up Our Water provided an informative exhibit about the Northern Pacific Sea Star and general information about their goals towards a cleaner future.
